Who wouldn't want to walk into the house at the end of a busy day to a nice hot meal? For me, just knowing that dinner is taken care of and is ready and waiting for us at home, takes away the dinner time stress and makes my day go so much better.
My favorite way to cook while I'm away from home? My crock pot. Juicy, herb roasted chicken with delicious, hearty stuffing - yes, please. I threw this chicken dinner into my crock pot first thing in the morning and when 5:00 rolled around, took the lid off of this delicious meal. It's almost too easy to be true.
Chicken and Stuffing
4 skin on chicken breasts with ribs
1 box of stuffing
cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup water
Cook on low 4-6 hours - depending on size of chicken breasts.
I go through crock pot stages it seems. There are months when I use it a lot and then it seems to get pushed to the background and I forget about it for a while. With soccer season just around the corner, it seems like a perfect time to bring my crock pot out again and put it to good use. I'd love to see YOUR favorite crock pot recipes too. Send me those yummy crock pot recipes and I'll give them a try. Thanks blog friends.
