I've recreated my chocolate and peanut butter cupcakes over and over again and I really cant explain why. It's not that I'm ever unhappy with the current chocolate peanut butter cupcake version - it's just that I'm somehow compelled to try and improve something that doesn't need any improvement.

My very latest chocolate peanut butter cupcake creation is a chocolate peanut butter SWIRLED cupcake.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirled Cupcakes
1 batch chocolate cupcake batter
1 batch peanut butter cupcake batter
1 batch peanut butter buttercream
1 batch chocolate buttercream
Mini or snack size Reese's peanut butter cups
Bake 22 minutes at 350. Cool on wire racks.
Fill piping bag with half chocolate buttercream and half peanut butter buttercream. Pipe onto cupcakes. Garnish with a peanut butter cup.
All of my chocolate and peanut butter loving followers - you need to try these. The swirled peanut butter chocolate buttercream perfectly compliments the peanut butter chocolate cake.
