I will be the first to admit that they are incredibly tempting! And with well over 2300 hits on that post alone - I guess I'm not the only one who thought so. Since it's obvious that I have a lot of Reese's loving followers, I decided to blog yet another super scrumptious chocolate and peanut confection for you to sink your teeth into. If you liked the cupcakes, you will LOVE the cookies. This recipe for Reese's peanut butter cup cookies came from the Favorite Brand Name Cookie cookbook. Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cookies 3/4 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 egg 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 1 1/4 cups flour 2 cups miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups 1/4 cup melted chocolate
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 1 hour. Scoop dough onto silpat lined baking sheets.
Drizzle cookies with melted chocolate. The little chunks of peanut butter cup inside the cookie are a nice surprise when biting into this decadent cookie. The drizzle of chocolate on top adds just the right balance of sweetness too.
Just a hint: I think Santa would REALLY enjoy finding one of these delicious treats under the tree on Christmas eve this year. Ciao!
